Comfort Quilts

My local guild has a community outreach program.  In this program we make quilts for the hospital's sexual assault and domestic violence program.  The quilts are used to comfort  people who are really hurting but also to help build trust between the counsellors  and their clients.  We donate about 50 quilts a year to this program with the majority of quilts going to girls between the ages of 13 and 24.  I often blog about the comfort quilts that I help make.  I'll be using this space to show some of these quilts.
